Oludotun Jacobs is very much alive contrary to the alarming messages you may be receiving in your new facebook and twitter timelines. A Nigerian columnist Betty Irabor was among the personalities who placed such a message on her social media account on Sunday. “Olu Jacob is not dead, as far as I am concerned, my dad is very much alive with regards to all the information circulating that he has died, please disregard it he is very much alive!” she retyped.
It was rumours on the social media that Jacobs was dead but there was no confirmation made about it. This is not the first time that such news, involving the well-known actor were trending on social media. Another similar report was spread on social networking services in June of 2020, including the Twitter, now known as X, and Facebook. But at that time a spokesperson of the Actors Guild of Nigeria deemed the news as false, those in support of the news included Monalisa Chinda Coker.
Looking into death rumors, there are speculations of false death of the actor up to August 2022. This was later refuted by his wife, Joke Silva and advised the authors of the information to stop troubling her husband, as she would open a legal proceedings against him. This is true despite sometimes in the past receiving what could be termed as rumours about the state of his health, Oludotun Jacobs is indeed healthy and in perfect condition. Viewers are urged to disregard the false and fake news concerning the health of the actor, and approach the official channels to get the right information on the health status of the actor.
