Super Eagles Coach Finidi George Urges Focus on Benin Republic After South Africa Draw

Finidi George relied on Nigerian Super Eagles to forget the match that ended in a draw with South Africa on Friday and begin to prepare for friendly match against the Benin Republic.


They later held the South Africans to a one all draw during their 2026 FIFA World Cup qualification match on the matchday three in Uyo. The visitors’ opened the scoring in the first half through Thembo Zwane which started putting the Super eagles under pressure in the early stage of the match.
